Abstract: The present invention relates to an automated climate-responsive post-harvest drying system for coffee beans and other moisture-sensitive agricultural produce. The system comprises an automated tarp-based drying platform integrated with a rain sensor, crop moisture sensor, thermal heating coils, automated closure mechanism, and a dual power source using solar or electrical power. The rain sensor detects rainfall or drizzles and transmits signals to a control unit, which automatically deactivates the heating system and actuates the closure mechanism to protect the crops from moisture exposure without human intervention. The thermal heating coils provide uniform controlled heat to accelerate drying, while the moisture sensor continuously monitors crop moisture to prevent over-drying or under-drying. The invention reduces drying time from approximately 7-14 days to 3—4 days, minimizes crop spoilage, reduces labour dependency, preserves crop quality, and improves the commercial value of agricultural produce.
