MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621071217 A) filed by Gokul Global University on June 08, 2026, for Automated Cutting Device For Industrial Dismantling.
Inventor includes Dr. Vipulkumar M. Dabhi.
The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.
Abstract: An automated cutting device for industrial dismantling, comprises of a body 101 configured with a plurality of motorized omnidirectional wheels 102 for providing rotational positioning, a holding and stabilization module to apply uniform holding force, a dual-mode cutting assembly comprising a flame-based cutting module and a mechanical cutting module for performing precise sectioning of the work piece, a path guidance and tracking module to maintain a constant standoff distance and trajectory along contoured surfaces, a safety verification module to detect residual flammable vapours within the work piece, a byproduct management module comprising a plurality of heat-resistant deflector shields, a fire-resistant collection tray 112 for molten metal removal, and a microcontroller to execute an automated safety interlock that prevents ignition of torch 107 in case hazardous gas levels are detected and to dynamically adjust cutting speed for effective slicing of the work piece.
