MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511007988 A) filed by Sanskriti University on January 30, 2025, for Automated Design Pattern Carving Device For Wooden Planks.

Abstract: An automated design pattern carving device for wooden planks, comprising a platform 101 positioned on a ground surface under sunlight exposure, an inverted U- shaped frame 102 installed on the platform 101 to engage a wooden plank for carving sunlight art, a display panel 103 installed on the platform 101 to enable user’s input command, a pair of suction units 104 integrated in the frame 102 to adhere the plank with the frame 102, a robotic link 105 provided on the platform 101 for positioning a set of converging lenses 201 configured within a cylindrical housing 106 mounted on a dual-axis sliding arrangement 107 integrated with the link 105 for providing required movement to the set of lenses 201 for fusing the plank in order to carve the selected design on the plank and a motorized slider 108 arranged in between periphery of the platform 101 and the link 105.
