Abstract: Topic: - Automated Envelope Processing System for Currency and Cheque Extraction, Authentication, Counting, and Secure Electronic Reporting A system comprising QR code scanning, automated envelope opening, extraction of currency and cheques, authentication and counting mechanisms, and a secure electronic reporting module configured to transmit information to the owner or an authorized user via email and WhatsApp. Abstract: - The present invention relates to an integrated automated system for processing sealed envelopes and generating secure transaction reports. The system comprises an Envelope Entry Unit (EEU), an Envelope Scanning Chamber (ESC) for capturing Envelope details, and an Envelope Cutting Chamber (ECC) for controlled opening of envelopes. A Contents Collection Unit (CCU) separates coins and conveys currency notes, cheques, and gift cards sequentially to a Currency Segregation Unit (CSU). The CSU, equipped with imaging devices and multi-sensor authentication modules, distinguishes currency from non-currency items and authenticates notes using optical, ultraviolet (UV), infrared (IR), magnetic, and image-based techniques. Non-currency items and counterfeit notes are directed to a Non-Currency Unit (NCU), while validated currency is transferred to a Money Collection Unit (MCU) via a tilting mechanism. A Processing and Control Unit (PCU) records envelope-wise transaction data and transmits secure electronic reports to authorized users via email and mobile messaging platforms. The system enhances accuracy, security, and operational efficiency in financial content processing. The invention provides a seamless, end-to-end automated envelope-to-report workflow, enhancing accuracy, security, traceability, and operational efficiency while minimizing manual intervention. Keywords: Envelope, currency extraction, cheque authentication, automated counting, transaction reporting, secure electronic communication.
