Abstract: This project presents the design and development of an automated floor cleaning robot using Raspberry Pi 4B+ integrated with IoT technology for remote operation. The system is developed to reduce human effort and improve cleaning efficiency in indoor environments by combining multiple cleaning methods such as vacuum suction, water spraying, and foam mopping. The robot can be controlled through a mobile application, providing convenience and flexibility to the user. DC motors with a motor driver enable smooth movement and directional control, while an ultrasonic sensor ensures obstacle detection and avoidance. For safety, the system includes a temperature sensor for fire detection and a gyroscopic sensor for fall detection, along with a buzzer alert mechanism for critical conditions. The robot operates using a regulated battery power supply, ensuring stable performance. The overall design is cost-effective, user-friendly, and suitable for both residential and commercial applications, offering a smart and efficient cleaning solution.
