MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511008023 A) filed by Sanskriti University on January 30, 2025, for Automated Grains Spreading/Gathering Device.
Inventors include Dr. Vikram Singh; and Dr. Jai Prakash Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: An automated grains spreading/gathering device, comprises of a cuboidal housing 101 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface and configured with multiple motorized omnidirectional wheels 102 for translocation of the housing 101, a touch interactive display panel 103 to select an operation to be performed, an artificial intelligence based imaging to determine presence of pile of grains, an inclined plate 105 by means of a pair of telescopically operated L-shaped rods 106 to extend and position the plate 105 over surface, multiple elongated flaps 107 hinged under the plate 105 each by means of a motorized hinge joint 108 to provide to and fro movement to the flaps 107 continuously in synchronization with translation of the housing 101 for re-spreading the grains, and an IOT(internet of things) based weather sensing module to sense possibility of rain.
