Abstract: The present invention discloses an automated irrigation control system (100) that integrates a soil moisture sensor node array (110) comprising capacitive sensor nodes (111, 112, 113, 114) with a weather data acquisition module (140) that retrieves real-time precipitation probability forecasts from a cloud-based meteorological API endpoint (141). A central processing unit (120) executing a dual-parameter irrigation scheduling algorithm on an embedded real-time operating system determines whether to irrigate a given zone by simultaneously evaluating whether the measured volumetric water content falls below a lower moisture threshold and whether the 24-hour precipitation probability is below a configurable rain-skip threshold. Actuation commands are transmitted to a multi-zone solenoid valve control module (130) that independently controls zone solenoid valves (131, 132, 133, 134). A user interface module (150) comprising a local display (151) and a mobile application dashboard (152) provides real-time monitoring, threshold configuration, and manual override capability.
