Abstract: The invention relates to package traceability for rotor spinning, vortex spinning, Air-jet spinning and automatic winding machines having independently operable production positions. An automated system includes a machine 101, conveyor 102, auto doffer 103, at least one distance sensor at position B and optionally position A, reflector at position C, laser printer at position D, local database, communication module, loader 104, and encoder-based position sensor. Packages removed from known production positions are placed on the conveyor, where taught-value sensor detection establishes package sequence corresponding to originating positions. Control logic advances the conveyor after a predefined doff count, and encoder and sensor inputs track each package to the marking region for laser marking with a QR code and/or alphanumeric text linked to a stored package-specific digital record.
