The collaborative electronic document includes a table associated with a third-party platform. The method includes determining a table synchronization option is activated, and sending via an API, a request to synchronize content of the table in the collaborative electronic document with content associated with the third-party platform. The method includes receiving, via the API, data for the table and updating the table. In response to input of the first user, the method includes adding data to the table and causing the table to be presented on the first device. In response to input of a second user, the method includes adding data to the table and causing the table to be presented on the first device.
