MUMBAI, India, July 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411103058 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges on December 24, 2024, for Automated System For Real-Time Soil Nutrient Analysis And On-Demand Custom Fertilizer Dispensation.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an automated fertilizer vending machine for real-time soil nutrient analysis and custom fertilizer formulation. The machine comprises a main body having multiple storage compartments for fertilizer components, wherein said main body is equipped with motorized wheels for autonomous field navigation. The machine incorporates a plurality of specialized sensors for comprehensive nutrient detection, an artificial intelligence module for crop health analysis, and a processing unit operatively coupled to a mixer unit for custom fertilizer preparation. The system further includes a precision dispensing nozzle, a communication module enabling secure wireless data transmission, and an interactive user interface. The invention provides an integrated solution for on-site analysis of soil nutrients and automated preparation of tailored fertilizer mixtures, thereby optimizing nutrient delivery for enhanced crop yield through real-time monitoring and precise formulation capabilities.
