Abstract: ABSTRACT AUTOMATED SYSTEM FOR WASHING CONTAINER BINS Disclosed is a system (200) for washing external surface of a container bin (20) used in pharmaceuticals, food and process industries. The system (200) comprises a spray manifold assembly (160) connected to a rotating arm (150) of a roller hub assembly (140) driven by a driving unit (120). A cleaning medium under pressure is supplied through a rotary joint (165) to the roller hub assembly (140) and further to a header arm provided with a plurality of nozzles (164) thereon. An actuating mechanism (162) is configured to provide linear motion to the header arm in vertical direction. The container bin (20) is cleaned without backlash by spraying pressurized cleaning medium through the plurality of high- pressure nozzles (164) while rotating the spray manifold assembly (160) around the container bin (20) and simultaneously moving the header arm in vertical direction travelling back & forth, covering 360ยบ rotation around the container bin (20).
