MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411094200 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges on November 30, 2024, for Automated Ventilation Fan Installation Device For Roofs.

Abstract: An automated ventilation fan installation device for roofs, comprising, a cuboidal body 101 associated to an elevated structure, plurality of links are arranged with multiple pivot joints for flexible movement of links, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 103 to generate a 3-dimensional mapping of roof of elevated structure, a computing unit wirelessly for enabling a user to select a portion on map, a U-shaped member having a first and second end, a motorized ball and socket joint for providing omnidirectional movement to second end, a pair of robotic arms 105 for acquiring grip to remove the layer, a tray 107 for storing a user-desired ventilation fan, followed by grabbing of a drilling unit to drill suitable holes at pre-fed distances, a robotic gripper 108 to position the screw on overlapped drilled hole.
