Abstract: Water tank cleaning is an important maintenance activity, but conventional manual cleaning is difficult, time-consuming, and requires considerable physical effort. This project proposes a Smart Automatic Water Tank Cleaning System designed to reduce human involvement in the cleaning process. The proposed system uses rotating brushes installed inside the tank to clean the walls and bottom surface by mechanical scrubbing. An ESP32 microcontroller can be used to control the brush motors, capsule dispenser, sensors, and other components according to a programmed sequence. Safety features such as a lid sensor, water-level sensor, emergency stop, and motor monitoring can be incorporated. This project presents a Smart Automatic Water Tank Cleaning System that automates the major stages of the cleaning process. A capsule-dispensing mechanism fitted near the tank lid can automatically release a suitable cleaning agent during the cleaning cycle. The proposed solution is intended to reduce manual intervention, simplify tank maintenance, and provide a practical automated cleaning method for residential and commercial water storage tanks.
