Abstract: An automated wooden cladding attachment device, comprising a platform 101 positioned over a ground surface by means of plurality of motorized omni-directional wheels 102 arranged beneath the platform 101, wherein the wheels 102 actuates to provide translation to the platform 101 over the surface, a touch interactive display panel 103 installed over the platform 101 to provide input regarding attachment of wooden cladding over a wooden plank, an imaging unit 104 installed over the platform 101 and integrated with a laser sensor for capturing and processing images of the plank, , a microcontroller linked with the imaging unit 104 determines length of the plank and accordingly actuates a pair of motorized sliding units 105 installed over the platform 101 and actuated by the microcontroller to provide translation to a block configured with each of the sliding unit 105 in view of gripping ends of the plank.
