Abstract: ABSTRACT [0014] Water is a vital resource for plant growth, and improper watering can lead to poorplant health or wastage of water. It also needs care and timing to ensure plants get just the right amount of moisture. This helps them grow healthy and strong. This project presents a cost-effective and efficient automatic plant watering system using Arduino UNO and a soil moisture sensor. The aim of this project is to automate the irrigation process by monitoring the soil moisture levels and watering plants only when required. These systems help conserve water, improve efficiency, and ensure plants get optimal hydration even when you are away the system uses a capacitive soil moisture sensor to detect the moisture content in the soil. Once the soil reaches an optimal moisture level, the system automatically turnsoff the pump. This ensures minimal water usage while maintaining healthy plant conditions. This project presents the development of a low-cost, automated plant watering system using Arduino UNO and a soil moisture sensor to ensure efficient irrigation practices.
