Abstract: ABSTRACT Automatic Soil Irrigation System A solar-powered automated soil irrigation system is disclosed for adaptive soil analysis, nutrient mapping, and targeted irrigation. The system includes photovoltaic panels, a charge controller, and a rechargeable battery bank for supplying off-grid power. A mobile soil-sampling robot traverses an agricultural field along predefined paths and collects soil-condition data using soil sensors, while GPS-based navigation geo-tags each sampling point. The collected data is transmitted through a wireless communication module to a nutrient-dispensing machine having a microcontroller-based control module. The control module computes a nutrient-deficiency map and generates a targeted dispensing schedule for actuating nutrient-dispensing pumps, valves or nozzles. A touchscreen user interface displays system status and field maps. The system may include a docking station and a mechanical irrigation memory drum with adjustable pins for feedback-based schedule adaptation, enabling self-optimizing irrigation over successive cycles.
