Abstract: The present invention relates to an autonomous aerial canopy system configured to provide hands-free protection from rain, sunlight, and other environmental conditions. The system comprises a canopy attached to a quadcopter propulsion assembly and a control unit including a microprocessor, a Time-of-Flight (TOF) sensor, a gyroscope sensor, an accelerometer, a speed sensor, a Bluetooth-based user-tracking module, and wireless communication capabilities. The TOF sensor maintains a safe distance between the canopy and the user, while the gyroscope and accelerometer provide flight stabilization and motion control. The system autonomously follows the user based on positional and movement data and may communicate with a smartphone for data processing and control. A machine-learning model enhances movement prediction and adaptive response, while an integrated microphone enables voice-command operation for functions including lighting control and navigational assistance.
