Abstract: The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence–assisted autonomous convoy protection and reconnaissance system to enhance security and situational awareness in hostile or uncertain environments. The system comprises a plurality of unmanned aerial vehicles and a central command and control unit operating in a coordinated manner. A first set of aerial units function as a primary surveillance layer, performing continuous area scanning using multi-spectral sensors and onboard artificial intelligence for anomaly detection. Detected data is transmitted to the central control unit, which evaluates potential threats and supervises system operations. Upon identification of a suspected threat, secondary aerial units are selectively deployed to perform close-range reconnaissance, verification, and threat classification, thereby generating a structured threat profile. The system dynamically adapts its operational behaviour in response to risk levels, including perimeter monitoring and coordinated guidance support. Human-in-the-loop supervision is maintained at the command unit to authorize responses.
