Abstract: ABSTRACT AUTONOMOUS FIRE SUPPRESSION ROVER WITH THERMOELECTRIC ENERGY HARVESTING An autonomous fire suppression rover (200) is provided. The autonomous fire suppression rover (200) includes a container mounted on a platform and configured to store a fire-extinguishing agent. The autonomous fire suppression rover (200) includes a hybrid power system (208) comprising a primary battery and at least one thermoelectric generator configured to convert thermal energy from a fire environment into auxiliary electrical energy. The autonomous fire suppression rover (200) includes an active cooling system (210) configured to maintain a temperature differential across the thermoelectric generator and to protect internal electronic components from thermal degradation, the active cooling system (210) comprising a circulating coolant and a forced convection mechanism. The autonomous fire suppression rover (200) includes a fire detection module (204) configured to identify a presence and a direction of a fire source. The autonomous fire suppression rover (200) includes a suppression module (206) configured to autonomously discharge the fire-extinguishing agent toward the fire source. The autonomous fire suppression rover (200) includes a plurality of heat-resistant alloy wheels configured to withstand elevated temperatures without deformation, each wheel comprising traction-enhancing features formed on an outer surface thereof.
