MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621072203 A) filed by Gokul Global University on June 10, 2026, for Autonomous Spilled Liquid Neutralization Device For Chemical Experiments.
Inventor includes Dr. Maharshikumar B. Shukla.
The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.
Abstract: An autonomous spilled liquid neutralization device for chemical experiments comprising, a platform 101 having a base surface 102 and expandable edge walls 103 designed to support laboratory glassware and vessels, a galvanic activation source comprising at least two dissimilar metal plates 104 electrically isolated from one another in a dry state, while a liquid spill on base surface 102, bridges plates 104 for generating an electrical potential, an agent selection unit to mechanically align an outlet of a specific agent compartment based on determined property to isolate correct neutralizing agent and prevent accidental discharge of incorrect or reactive chemicals, a release arrangement having an electromagnetic latch 111 triggered by electrical potential of galvanic activation source to discharge selected neutralizing agent onto liquid spill for immediate, automated mitigation of a hazard without requiring external power or manual intervention.
