Abstract: The present invention discloses an autonomous UAV target tracking system using reinforcement learning and predictive control and working method thereof. The system comprises an autonomous UAV platform (100), an embedded edge computing module (102), a reinforcement learning engine (104), a predictive control engine (106), a sensor fusion module (108), a target detection module (110), a trajectory optimization module (112), a navigation and localization module (124), a flight stabilization controller (136), and a propulsion management module (138). The reinforcement learning engine (104) generates adaptive tracking policies based on environmental and target states, while the predictive control engine (106) computes optimized future trajectories under dynamic operational constraints. The sensor fusion module (108) integrates radar, vision, inertial, and navigation data for unified situational awareness. The invention enables real-time adaptive target tracking, disturbance rejection, obstacle avoidance, swarm coordination, and autonomous mission execution with improved tracking precision, reduced latency, enhanced robustness, and increased mission survivability.
