Abstract: ABSTRACT Disclosed herein is a system (200) for autonomous underwater monitoring and hazard assessment, comprising an autonomous underwater vehicle (100) having a microcontroller (110) with a sensor fusion module (116) that derives a Multi- Parameter Divergence Score (MPDS) from inter-sensor correlation analysis, a turbulence mapping module (118) that generates a geo- tagged three-dimensional hazard map from inertial spectral analysis, and a propulsion analysis module (120) that derives a Water Viscosity Index (WVI) from thruster current monitoring, all without additional hardware. The system (200) further comprises a communication unit (202), a control unit (204) with a supervision module (206), modification module (208), and user interface (210), and a database unit (212) for multi-mission aggregation and contamination zone identification.
