MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641117759 A) filed by Valasumani Farm Machines Private Limited on October 01, 2026, for Axial Flow Threshing System For A Paddy Combine Harvester.

Inventor includes M. Mani.

The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: An axial flow threshing system restricts cutting or fragmentation of paddy straw during threshing, preserving straw length and fodder value. The system comprises a top cover assembly (1) having a semi-elliptical top cover (1.1), helical guide fastening brackets (1.5) and selectively mountable helical guides (1.3) that regulate crop flow; a rotor assembly (2, 2V) having rasp bars (2.4, 2V.4) permanently fixed at a transverse welding angle; and front and rear concave assemblies (3, 4). The front concave assembly (3) has intermediate rods (3.6) at a first pitch and the rear concave assembly (4) has intermediate rods (4.6) at a greater second pitch, with intermediate curved flats (3.4, 4.4) at progressively increasing spacing, giving a progressively decreasing crop-engagement profile while maintaining grain separation. The system is used in paddy combine harvesters. (Ref. FIG. 10)
