Abstract: The present invention discloses a bamboo reinforced road which is a sustainable bamboo fiber road construction project integrated with plastic wastes. Due to heavy traffic and environmental factors, the conventional roads form cracks, potholes, and unevenness, which c tll for periodic maintenance, leading to high construction costs. The project is environmentally sustainable in enhancing the durability and sustainability of roads. This method requires the collection, cleaning and shredding of plastic wastes, after which the shredded plastic wastages are then mixed with the heated bitumen to enhance workability. The treated bamboo fibers act as a reinforcement agent in this case, enhancing flexibility, tensile strength, and durability as well as providing resistance against moisture damage. Sustainable bamboo and plastic materials compound a strong composite material that improves the road's performance. This method advocates for the appropriate management of plastic wastes, preservation of non-renewable resources, and the development of infrastructures at a low cost. To conclude, the project (above) is a sustainable way of building green and sustainable road infrastructure that is long-lasting.
