Abstract: A system for exchanging data between a baseboard management controller (BMC) and a host processor is described herein. The system includes one or more host processors and a bus interface. The system 5 also includes BMC circuitry that includes a BMC microcontroller configured to perform instructions received from one or more remote electronic devices to enable the one or more remote electronic devices to manage a server device on which the BMC circuitry resides. The system further includes a shared memory that is accessible by the one or more host 10 processors via the bus interface and the BMC microcontroller.
