MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521011985 A) filed by National Innovation Foundation - India on February 12, 2025, for Battery Charging System.

Inventor includes Adarsh.

The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.

Abstract: A wearable battery charging system 100 to generate electricity through motion of the user includes a pair of sticks comprising an upper stick 100A and a lower stick 100B coupled by a shaft 102. The upper stick 100A is secured around the user’s thigh 106 using a fastening mechanism 104; and the lower stick 100B secured around the user's lower leg 108 using the fastening mechanism 104 to generate kinetic energy 202 through the movement of the user’s leg causing rotation of the shaft 102. The shaft 102 is operatively connected to a gear assembly of a servomotor 204 to initiate the rotation of the motor axis. The rotation of the motor axis being used to produce electricity through electromagnetic induction, with the servomotor (204) acting as a generator. The produced electricity is directed to a power management circuit 208 configured to regulate and store the electrical energy in a power bank 210. The power bank 210 enables charging of the battery 118 during the movement of the user's leg.
