Abstract: A battery diagnostic device according to an embodiment disclosed in the present document includes: a data obtaining unit that obtains voltage data and current data of a battery; a state-of-charge (SOC) calculation unit that calculates the SOC of the battery on the basis of the current data; an error calculation that calculates an SOC error of the battery on the basis of the calculated SOC of the battery and a reference SOC of the battery; and an SOH prediction unit that calculates the SOH of the battery on the basis of the SOC and the SOC error of the battery, inputs the calculated SOH of the battery into a linear regression model to derive a linear regression equation of the SOH of the battery, and predicts the SOH of the battery on the basis of the linear regression equation.
