Abstract: The present invention relates to a beading device for a cylindrical battery, the beading device additionally including a position measurement device. The beading device comprises: a beading knife that forms a beading portion on one side of a cylindrical can; a backup roller that supports the cylindrical can from the other side of the cylindrical can while the beading knife is forming the beading portion on the cylindrical can; individual beading units including an upper CFB and a lower CFB having bearing structures and disposed in the upper and lower portions, respectively; and a cam structure in which one or more of the individual beading units are arranged in a circle and rotated about the central axis of the circle, wherein the beading device additionally includes the position measurement device for measuring the position of at least one of the beading knife, the backup roller, or the upper CFB and the lower CFB.
