Abstract: Provided in the present application is a beam alignment method. The method can be applied to a WLAN system supporting 802.11 series protocols such as IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6), 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) or 802.11bn (Wi-Fi 8), and can also be applied to other wireless protocols, standards and wireless communication systems having beam alignment links. The method comprises: a first station acquiring first information, wherein the first information indicates a first beam group and a second beam group; and acquiring a first measurement result of the first beam group and a second measurement result of the second beam group on the basis of the first information, wherein the first measurement result and the second measurement result are used for determining a target beam for beam alignment, and are also used for determining the stop of beam measurement. By means of grouping beams to be measured, a first station can stop beam measurement during measurement, and thus the training overheads of the beams can be saved.
