Abstract: The present invention relates to a bidirectional submerged solar plate system employing a light-scattering liquid medium and passive liquid cooling for angle-independent photovoltaic energy generation. The system comprises a solar plate having photovoltaic surfaces on both upper and lower sides, submerged within a scattering liquid medium at a predetermined depth. Incident sunlight entering the liquid medium undergoes multidirectional optical scattering, enabling illumination of both upper and lower photovoltaic surfaces. The surrounding liquid simultaneously provides passive cooling to the solar plate assembly. The invention reduces directional dependence of solar energy harvesting while improving utilization of scattered and diffuse light.
