Abstract: ABSTRACT “BIO-INSPIRED MITOCHONDRIAL ENERGY PRODUCTION OPTIMIZATION-BASED CONTROL SYSTEM FOR GRID-CONNECTED INVERTER UNDER WEAK GRID CONDITIONS” The present invention relates to a bio-inspired adaptive control system (100) and method (200) for adaptive controller gain optimization of a grid-connected inverter under weak-grid conditions. The system (100) comprises a DC power input module (101) configured to receive DC electrical power, a three-phase voltage-source inverter module (102) configured to convert DC electrical power into three-phase AC electrical power, an LCL filter module (104) configured to attenuate switching harmonics, and a sensing module (108) configured to acquire inverter and grid parameters. Further, a synchronous reference frame phase-locked loop module (110) and a coordinate transformation module (112) are configured to determine synchronization parameters and transform electrical parameters into synchronous reference-frame components, while current and voltage control modules (114, 116) regulate inverter operation. A processing module (122) is configured to optimize controller gain parameters. The present invention provides enhanced grid synchronization, harmonic reduction, inverter stability, and fault recovery under weak-grid conditions. Refer: Fig. 01
