Abstract: The present invention relates to a biocidal composition with high oxidising power comprising chlorine dioxide, silicon dioxide nanoparticles and carbonates. The present invention also relates to a kit comprising a reagent (component A) comprising a reagent organo-mineral compound of hydrogen salts, hydroxy salts and hydrated salt, a stabiliser (component B) comprising an acid complex with polynuclear coordination compounds, with two pairs of electrons and trisodium citrate, and a cationic catalyst (component C) comprising a kinetic activated complex of chlorine dioxide in a colloidal solution of silicon dioxide. The present invention also relates to the process for producing the composition, to the packaged product and to the use of the composition or kit for oxidation and/or disinfection. The mixture of components A, B and C forms the polyoxide of chlorine with silicon (POCS) biocidal composition used as an oxidiser/disinfectant.
