Abstract: The present invention discloses a biodegradable polymeric spray formulation designated as C- BioWound-DM developed for sustained diabetic wound healing. The formulation comprises an aqueous leaf extract of Androgrciphis pcmiculata incorporated into a chitosan—alginate polyelectrolyte complex along with pharmaceutically acceptable stabilizing and viscositymodifying agents. The biodegradable nature of the polymeric matrix enables gradual disintegration at the wound site while ensuring sustained release of plant-derived bioactive constituents. The developed spray demonstrates antioxidant activity, antimicrobial efficacy against wound- associated pathogens, and cytocompatibility with mammalian skin cell lines under in vitro conditions. The spray-based system provides uniform wound coverage, maintains moisture balance, and promotes cellular migration in vitro. The invention offers a stable, scalable, and environmentally compatible therapeutic platform for sustained diabetic wound management
