Abstract: The present invention discloses a Bioengineered Multifunctional Soil Regeneration Composite (BMSRC) and an associated preparation process for restoring infertile desert and degraded soils into fertile agricultural land. The composite integrates an engineered carbon matrix comprising bamboo biochar, coconut shell biochar, rice husk biochar, and nano-biochar with biomass-derived organic nutrient modules, natural water-retention materials, beneficial microbial consortia, and bioactive biostimulants. The carbon matrix enhances carbon sequestration, cation exchange capacity, nutrient adsorption, and microbial colonization, while organic nutrient sources provide sustained release of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and essential micronutrients. The formulation further incorporates cellulose-based hydrogel, banana pseudostem fibre, psyllium husk, aloe vera, and okra mucilage to improve soil moisture retention under arid conditions.
