MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611075773 A) filed by Gla University, Mathura on June 18, 2026, for Biofeedback-Controlled Smart Beverage Dispensing System.
Inventor includes Dr. Vibhav Varshney.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a biofeedback-controlled smart beverage dispensing system (100) configured to personalize beverage composition based on user physiological and biochemical data. The system (100) comprises a wearable biosensor unit (105) for acquiring cortisol-related data, electrolyte and hydration-related data, heart rate variability data, galvanic skin response data, and skin temperature data. The acquired data is transmitted to an edge AI processing unit (115) for preprocessing, multi-sensor fusion, and physiological state classification. A formulation decision engine (135) generates a dispensing control command output (140). A multi-reservoir dispensing unit (145) controls ingredient delivery through micro-pumps (330), solenoid valves (335), flow sensors (340), and a mixing chamber (350). A closed-loop feedback module (150) receives post-consumption physiological response data for refining subsequent formulation decisions.
