The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: BIOFEEDBACK-DRIVEN SMART WOUND DRESSING SYSTEM WITH CLOSED-LOOP ADAPTIVE THERAPEUTIC DELIVERY Abstract The present invention relates to a biofeedback-driven smart wound dressing system (100) with closed-loop adaptive therapeutic delivery for real-time wound management. The system comprises a multilayer flexible dressing including a breathable top layer (101), a hydrogel matrix (104), and an adhesive wound interface (105). Embedded within the hydrogel matrix (104) is a biosensor array (102) configured to continuously monitor wound parameters including pH, temperature, moisture level, and bacterial activity. The sensed data is processed by an intelligent control unit (107) to detect abnormal wound conditions (115) such as infection or inflammation. Upon detection, the system activates adaptive therapeutic release (108) from microfluidic drug reservoirs (103) through controlled microvalves, enabling localized drug delivery via the hydrogel matrix (104). A wireless communication module (109) enables remote monitoring (110). The system operates as a closed-loop platform integrating sensing, analysis, and therapy to enhance healing, reduce infection risk, and minimize manual intervention.
