Abstract: ABSTRACT Biomathematical Seed Germination and Seedling-Vigour Prediction System Under Environmental Stress A biomathematical system and computer-implemented method are provided for predicting seed germination and seedling vigour under environmental stress. The system receives seed-lot data and environmental measurements including temperature, moisture, salinity, pH, oxygen, light, and nutrient-related conditions. An imbibition and dormancy model estimates seed-water uptake and activation state; a germination-state module predicts germination probability and expected germination time; and a seedling-growth model predicts root length, shoot length, biomass, and survival probability. Environmental-stress functions and fuzzy or interval uncertainty handling generate confidence-aware vigour scores and stress-tolerance outputs. A prediction and recommendation engine displays seed-lot ranking, warning alerts, predicted curves, and environmental corrections for laboratory, nursery, greenhouse, and field deployment. The invention improves early seed-lot screening, reduces nursery resource wastage, and provides stress-specific recommendations for improved seedling establishment.
