Abstract: The present invention relates to a smart vehicle safety system designed to prevent underage driving and ensure helmet compliance. The system addresses the growing concern of road accidents caused by underage and unprotected two-wheeler riders. So to solve this issue, the proposed invention implies a fingerprint scanner to authenticate the rider's age and only permits it if the rider is an adult; hence, to ensure the rider's safety, it also implements a smart helmet system. Riders have to wear a helmet before riding the vehicle. The system is implemented using an ESP-32 microcontroller, a biometric scanner, a helmet-ensuring module, etc. This integrated solution guarantees that only adult riders wearing helmets can operate the vehicle, thereby enhancing road safety and reducing unauthorized vehicle access.
