Abstract: ABSTRACT BIOMIMETIC PATROLLING BIRD DRONE SYSTEM FOR COVERT AERIAL SURVEILLANCE AND MONITORING The present invention relates to a biomimetic aerial surveillance system configured in the form of a bird-like drone for covert patrolling and monitoring applications. More particularly, the invention discloses a low-noise, energy-efficient, stealth-capable unmanned aerial vehicle incorporating bird-mimicking structural features, autonomous navigation systems, and multi-sensor surveillance modules. The invention comprises a biomimetic airframe, flapping-wing or hybrid propulsion mechanisms, onboard navigation and control systems, environmental sensing modules, and communication interfaces configured for discreet aerial monitoring operations. The bird-like appearance and flight behavior enable reduced visual and acoustic detectability while minimizing disturbance to wildlife and human environments. The system supports autonomous patrolling, real-time data transmission, obstacle avoidance, and adaptive flight operations in complex terrains. The disclosed invention is applicable in border surveillance, wildlife monitoring, agricultural inspection, disaster management, infrastructure inspection, environmental monitoring, and urban security operations. The invention provides improved endurance, reduced energy consumption, enhanced stealth capability, and expanded operational flexibility compared to conventional surveillance drones.
