Abstract: BLOCKCHAIN- ENABLED SECURE DATA SHARING SYSTEM WITH TAMPER-PROOF ACCESS CONTROL ABSTRACT This invention relates to a blockchain-enabled secure data sharing system designed to provide tamper-proof access control for sensitive digital information. The system uses a decentralized blockchain ledger to record data-sharing transactions, access permissions, user identities, and authorization changes in an immutable manner. Smart contracts are employed to define, verify, and automatically enforce access rules between data owners, authorized users, and service providers. Instead of storing original data directly on the blockchain, the invention stores encrypted references, cryptographic hashes, and access metadata, thereby improving privacy, scalability, and storage efficiency. Each data access request is validated through authentication, permission verification, and integrity checking before access is granted. Any modification, unauthorized attempt, or policy change is permanently recorded, ensuring transparency and accountability. The system may be applied in healthcare, finance, government, education, research, and enterprise environments where secure and auditable data exchange is required. By combining encryption, smart contracts, decentralized verification, and immutable audit trails, the invention prevents data tampering, reduces dependency on centralized intermediaries, and enables trusted, controlled, and traceable sharing of confidential information.
