Abstract: A blockchain-enabled hydrogen lifecycle verification and trading system, comprising a distributed ledger network 101 comprising multiple ledger nodes 102 to store immutable, time-stamped records, a sensor gateway interface 103 receives authenticated operational data from hydrogen production equipment, storage equipment, or delivery equipment, in response to a verified production event, a digital hydrogen token representing a defined quantity of hydrogen and associated lifecycle attributes including source type and carbon intensity, a contract execution module 105 deployed on the distributed ledger network 101 executes transaction rules for transfer of token ownership between a producer and a consumer based on verified token attributes and transaction conditions, a lifecycle update module 106 appends custody and condition events during compression, storage, transport, dispensing, or consumption, an audit interface 107 provides authorized verifiers access to an end-to-end lifecycle trail for regulatory compliance and origin verification.
