Abstract: In modern smart cities, continuous monitoring of infrastructure relies on sensor data from water, traffic, waste, electricity, and flood systems. Conventional digital twin platforms primarily visualize data but do not guarantee integrity or prevent tampering. The present invention proposes a blockchain secured digital twin system integrated with internet of things for real time monitoring, intelligent analysis, and trusted management. The methodology combines off chain processing of high frequency data with selective on chain recording of critical events. An intelligent framework enables event detection, classification, and automated alerts. The system includes a digital twin dashboard and citizen complaint portal. This approach ensures scalability, transparency, improved decision making, and secure traceability across smart city operations. It reduces dependency on centralized control, minimizes delays, and enhances operational efficiency. The invention supports proactive management through predictive insights and real time visualization, thereby strengthening reliability, accountability, and trust in urban infrastructure monitoring systems and governance.
