Abstract: A bracket assembly 100 for mounting a vehicle component is provided. The bracket assembly comprises a bracket 101 with a top planar surface 102 and three flanges 106, 108, 110 extending from the top planar surface 102. The flanges 106, 108, 110 have side planar surfaces 112, 114, 116 configured to mount the bracket 101 to three mutually perpendicular planes 202A, 204B, 206C in the vehicle body, providing three-dimensional mounting to the bracket 101. The bracket assembly 100 provides a three-plane mounting to vehicle component, thereby limiting deflection of the vehicle component about X, Y, and Z axes which in turn improve noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) mitigation.
