MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611109702 A) filed by Manav Rachna University on September 12, 2026, for Calibration Integrity Verification System For Pressure Safety Equipment.

Inventors include Dr Vivek Sharma; and Dr. Bhim Singh.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: Disclosed is a calibration integrity verification system for pressure safety equipment comprising a pressure relief valve with a spring-biased closure member and a threaded setting member establishing a release-pressure condition. A locking collar engages the threaded setting member after calibration and carries a tamper- responsive state element whose readable condition changes upon rotation, release or removal of the locking collar. Following controlled testing of the valve, a state reader obtains a locked-state value. A computing arrangement associates an equipment identity, a tested release-setting result and the locked-state value in a signed calibration record stored in a permissioned blockchain. During subsequent inspection, the state reader obtains a present state value from the installed locking collar. A verification processor compares the present state value with the calibration-state value retained in the calibration record to identify alteration of the physical setting-lock condition after calibration.
