Abstract: The present invention relates to a cam-driven applicator device for dispensing cleaning, sanitizing and/or disinfecting liquid or gel across the external surface of an elongate, three-dimensional object. The device includes one or more wheels configured to be moved along the external surface to impart a rotational motion upon at least one associated cam member, wherein each revolution of the cam member causes actuation of a corresponding nozzle and hence at least one application of liquid or gel through the nozzle onto the external surface. In a particular embodiment, the device stores liquid in a space between an internal frame and an outer housing or in a vessel positioned inside the space to hold the liquid, and the nozzle(s) are spray type nozzles configured to spray the liquid onto the external surface.
