MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611095022 A) filed by Mehul Goenka; Siddharth Asthana; and Nikita Goenka on August 05, 2026, for Capability-Verified Identity System And Method For An Agent Economy.
Inventors include Mehul Goenka; Siddharth Asthana; and Tejas Pathak.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: A capability-verified identity system (100) and method (200) for an agent economy are disclosed. The system (100) comprises a user device (102) and a server (104) having processing circuitry (124) configured to register heterogeneous agentic primitives as first-class records within a unified registry. The processing circuitry (124) assigns a unique canonical identifier and a human-readable domain identifier to each primitive, maintains a dual-plane identity architecture comprising a blockchain plane and an indexing plane, and anchors cryptographic hashes of primitive manifests to establish immutable trust records. The processing circuitry (124) further performs capability verification using proof objects and trusted execution environment attestations, associates primitives with ownership and payment identities, stores capability metadata, resolves discovery requests, enables protocol-based invocation, monitors execution and telemetry, updates reputation metrics, and maintains lifecycle management including renewal, versioning, revocation, and historical auditability of the registered primitives.
