Abstract: ABSTRACT Clinical dental polishing procedures require precise, efficient, and easily maneuverable rotary instruments. Conventional polishing systems used in dentistry are often connected to external power units through cords and tubing, which restrict movement, reduce accessibility in the oral cavity, and increase operator fatigue.-Additionally, frequent .bur changes andJimited portability . further complicate chairside workflows. The present invention introduces a changeable polishing bur-integrated rechargeable mini micromotor specifically designed for clinical dental applications. The device consists of a detachable polishing bur mounted on a rotating shank, an elongated ergonomic body housing a compact electric micromotor and rechargeable battery, and an integrated ON/OFF control switch. A USB charging port allows convenient recharging without the need for external control units. This cordless, handheld design enhances intraoral accessibility, improves precision during polishing and finishing of teeth and restorations, and minimizes vibration. The ability to rapidly change polishing burs allows clinicians to adapt quickly to different procedural requirements. By addressing limitations of conventional systems, the invention offers an efficient, portable, and clinician-friendly solution for chairside dental polishing procedures.
