Abstract: The ChargeWise Strip is a smart electrical extension board designed to optimize charging efficiency and eliminate unnecessary power consumption in modem households and offices. Conventional power strips continuously supply electricity to connected devices even after batteries are fully charged, leading to energy wastage, overheating risks, and reduced battery lifespan. The ChargeWise Strip addresses these challenges by integrating real-time current monitoring and automatic power cutoff functionality within a compact multi-socket power strip. The system continuously analyzes the current flow to each charging port and detects when a connected device reaches full charge or enters a low-load state. Upon identification of completed charging, the strip automatically disconnects power to the respective outlet while maintaining supply to other active sockets. This selective control prevents overcharging and standby energy loss. The strip also incorporates USB charging ports with intelligent voltage regulation to support various electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, and wearable electronics. Additional safety features include surge protection, overload prevention, and thermal monitoring to ensure safe operation under varying load conditions. LED indicators display charging and cutoff status for user awareness. Designed for plug-and-play usage, the ChargeWise Strip fits seamlessly into existing electrical setups without requiring configuration. This invention promotes sustainable energy usage, enhances charging safety, and extends device battery life, offering an affordable smart power management solution for everyday applications.
