MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541090580 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology Madras Iit Madras on September 22, 2025, for Circuitry For Simulating Transmission Phase Delay And Loss For Photonic Waveguide.

Inventors include Das, Bijoy Krishna; Chakravorty, Anjan; Ramachandran Nair, Deleep; Goswami, Arnab; and Pandey, Shruti.

The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.

Abstract: Disclosed is an integrated circuitry (300) for simulating a phase delay and propagation loss of a photonic waveguide. The circuitry (300) includes an input section (302), a first section (304), a second section (306), and an output section (308). The input section (302) includes an input terminal configured to receive an input signal corresponding to an input electric field. The first section (304) includes a first controlled source and a parallel arrangement of a capacitor and a first resistor. The second section (306) includes a second controlled source and a second resistor. The output section (308) connected to the second section (306) includes a third controlled source. The output section (308) further includes an output terminal configured to output an output signal corresponding to an output electric field. Representative Figure: FIG. 3
