Abstract: Abstract of the Invention Clap Punch is a bi-directional, hinge-connected rubber dam punching device configured to produce complete maxillary or mandibular full- arch perforation patterns in a single compression action. The device comprises two rigid plates connected by a hinge mechanism. A first plate includes two distinct sets of punching needles arranged on opposite faces in curvatures corresponding to maxillary and mandibular arch configurations. The opposing plate contains corresponding receiving apertures aligned with each respective needle set. Upon compression in a first direction, the maxillary needle configuration engages its aligned apertures to generate a full maxillary arch perforation. Compression in the opposite direction activates the mandibular configuration. The punching needles are dimensioned according to respective tooth positions, providing proportionate perforation sizes for anterior and posterior regions. The invention standardizes arch curvature and spacing, reduces preparation time, and improves efficiency in preclinical endodontic training and clinical dental procedures.
